Egress Windows

If you require an egress window in your basement, we can handle everything from start to finish.

Although individual requirements may vary, most of our jobs include the following:

  1. Permits and engineering.
  2. Explaining different window options and selling you the correct window for your specific situation.
  3. Doing the “dig prep”.
  4. Digging a new drain to the existing weeping tile and installing a new vertical drain.
  5. Doing the interior prep.
  6. Cutting the concrete; creating or enlarging the opening in your stone, wood, or block foundation.
  7. Installing a pressure treated wood buck.
  8. Installing the window.
  9. Installing the lintel (where required.)
  10. Install a metal window well, or build on site and install a pressure treated wood well.
  11. Back-fill.
  12. Patch the drywall on the interior (if included in the job scope.)
  13. Haul away the debris.
  14. Haul away the extra soil (if included in the job scope.)
  15. Permit inspection.
